Someone told me this one is actually Paul McCartney solo but it was released as a Beatles record. The radio DJ said it was the Beatles. [media=https://youtu.be/NrgmdOz227I]
@Soossie yes of course Paul wrote it but recorded it with the Beatles. Well documented how he wrote it one morning and had a working title of 'Scrambled Eggs' and then it became one of the most recorded songs of all time. Watching the 'Beatles Get Back' on Disney really shows how they pull melodies and songs together with nonsensical verses until they have it all worked out. It is a must see on how the worked as the most productive band of all time.
Paul is the only one who performs on this song, but it was remeased as a Beatles song, since he didn't have any solo side album that he was working on. He also reviewed the song he had written with John Lennon and producer George Martin.
Just like the Lennon/McCartney writing credits, anything they recorded had to come out as The Beatles. There were times when only one or two of them were in the studio.
I'm from Liverpool. I once went to the cavern- the pub they used to perform in. There's mostly just Beatles cover bands there but it's a good place to hang out. I met the lead singer of rainbow there. He gave me a very best of rainbow cd and vinyl for minding his cd stall for him
I like everything by the Beatles before they got into the 60s culture. I want to hold your hand, A hard days night, Yesterday, after the mid 60s I kind of lose interest.
