Good pick @Lilymoon. I can see this song having a resurgence with the new space race. Thank you.

@RoaringLion I remember hearing this for the first time and thinking it was one of the strangest things I'd heard.
Here's something a bit more accessible, though a bit secondary to a celestial body

A nice pick @SW-User. I remember these punters, New Year's Eve in Aberdeen 2004. They were to play up to and count down to the New Year. They refused to play because the organisers couldn't meet their request for their favorite energy drink. Someone had to go all the way to Dundee to get some before they played. Missed the countdown and everything. A near riot.

@RoaringLion I didn't have them down as such divas

When I was initiated into the space program in the late 1980's,microcasettes of this song were issued to new recruits.

Let me guess, copies are now finding their way to DJ's in shady nightclubs all over outer space with astronauts and androids grooving along to them? Humour aside- it's a fab song @dubkebab, thank you.
dubkebab · 56-60, M
@RoaringLion Music piracy was not permitted in the space corps back then. I can neither confirm nor deny any afterhours sessions on party asteroid B563 or within any given globular cluster.

Ha! This just what we need around here @dubkebab. Someone with love for music, and a great sense of humour. I do hope you're going to stick around.

I recently found this song that I'm a bit over excited about

It's definitely... probably not for most people

Positively apocalyptic @caPnAhab! Though it doesn't seem to fit the question all that well, thanks for sharing.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@RoaringLion oh, my mind must've wandered off before finishing reading the question 😅
Here's the correction

Well you've surely made up for it with this @caPnAhab. Sonic punches to the left and right and then an uppercut from the double solo's. Cheers.

@dubkebab
[Verse 1]
Dark star crashes
Pouring its light
Into ashes
Reason tatters
The forces tear loose
From the axis
Searchlight casting
For faults in the
Clouds of delusion
[Chorus]
Shall we go
You and I
While we can?
Through
The transitive nightfall
Of diamonds
[Verse 2]
Mirror shatters
In formless reflections
Of matter
Glass hand dissolving
To ice petal flowers
Revolving
Lady in velvet
Recedes
In the nights of goodbye
[Chorus]
Shall we go
You and I
While we can?
Through
The transitive nightfall
Of diamonds

@ElwoodBlues Reason tatters, alright. But I'll give Mr.Hunter points for using 'transitive' in a lyric.
I just remembered that this song was written about 10 miles from here.
Flatbed Greg was gonna show me which house, but I guess we never got around to it.
Keen observers will note that judging from the era and those phased vocal mics, this was played through the legendary 'wall of sound'. This may well have been one of those evenings when large chunks of ceiling were dislodged at Winterland.Just not during this jam.I'll bet the cool kids went to the snack bar.
