Why the hell didn't I know that Sting used to be the lead singer of The Police? 🚨 🤦‍♂️

I been listening to them both separately for years and I never realized that till I saw Sting in a video today singing Roxanne and I was like wait a minute what's going on here.

Maybe it's because Every Breath You Take by The Police is shot in black and white but I also thought they were American not British (in music it's hard to hear the difference in accents in a lot of songs) and that was another part of the the confusion lol plus he looks so young in the video.

He's awesome, from Every Breath You Take to Desert Rose and English Man In NY.

The Police were late 70s—early to mid 80s and I remember Sting’s first solo album In 1985. If you were born after that, I could see possibly missing it.
