The kids today have no idea what they missed out on during the pop music phenomenon from the 50's to 2010.
There just isn't much left of the music industry, so music executives and producers aren't developing and promoting true musical talent, its all about image these days. Talent is secondary.

Right! My kids heads spin how do you know that song? I’m it’s from 1983. But there’s never been worse music as there has been in the last ten years. Such garbage I don’t even consider as music

@Jenny1234 With context, I think there has never been more truly amazing music being written and released than there is now, and we have platforms like Spotify to thank for that.
Sadly, the charts are another matter...

@SW-User you feel that way because you are very young

@Jenny1234 I'm sorry, but good music is still being released. You just have to know where to look, and frankly isn't that just what it's all about, discovering new and incredible music?

That song was in my head for three days after watching “Stranger Things.” Now, it comes and goes. It’s a good job that I love the song.

Welp, for what it's worth, that Kate Bush song is on course to be No. 1 where I live this week

Older music has also been used in many video games.

I knew Running Up That Hill from Within Temptation, then Placebo and it took me some time to find out that the original is by Kate Bush. All I knew by her then was Babooshka. Later I found Wuthering Heights and The Dreaming.

That's not even the best song on that Kate Bush album, "Hounds of Love." Check out "Waking the Witch," "Under Ice," etc...
