Do you like John Lennon?

@Vivaci They play "Just Like Starting Over" on the radio quite a lot, I heard that one recently.

@HairbrushDiva It's such a beautiful song...🥴 I think he wrote some really good songs...only thing is he couldn't sing as good as Paul Mccartney or George Harrison imho.

@Vivaci I wouldn't say he's worse than the other ex-Beatles. They have their own individual voices.

@graphite Yes it's a great solo, but to me the best thing is Rick's sublime use of the mellotron, and Alan's drumming. (And perhaps we should stop talking about Yes, because the thread is about Lennon, and it's HairbrushDiva's post 😇)

@Sidewinder Do you like "Instant Karma"? That one was on the radio today. It makes a change from the far more often played "Imagine". Lol :)

@HairbrushDiva Yeah, it's one of my favorites.

@helenS I suppose it sounded simple and basic after some of the Beatles' more complex songs like "Strawberry Fields". I see what you mean.

@HairbrushDiva I know I'm more or less alone with my opinion, and Lennon has become sort of a saint.
