@TexChik Yeah, that's about what it was. My memory is like that though, I have an almost superhuman memory that's constantly recording everything around me. It's almost like a subconscious obsession. I remember phone numbers of restaurants that closed ten years ago, I remember dialogue word for word from movies I haven't seen since childhood, I remember the outfit I was wearing on a certain day when something important happened, I remember what song was playing on the radio when I drove to the museum with my grandma three summers ago. It's really quite absurd.

@akindheart Having struggled with addiction myself I know how destructive can be, and I'd imagine that being depressed on top of it only makes it worse. I'm fortunate enough to have never suffered from depression or similar problems but I've known too many people who have.

@BlueMetalChick I understand that . I’m not quite blessed with a photographic memory but everything is still in there ... the 12 cranial nerves and their function. What tissues look like microscopically , chemistry ... and at the last minute I didn’t go to medical school ... I went on a different career path ... but all that info is still in there. Most importantly the good stuff is too! I can remember my adoptive mothers voice inflections , how she smelled , everything she ever taught me . My adoptive father’s unique way of making his point . 😊
