What was your most memorable live band ?

hunkalove · 70-79, M
The Beatles, twice in 1966. Best concert was Bob Dylan and the Hawks, March 1966. Never a Dylan fan but the Hawks, who became The Band, were incredible.
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F
Omg you saw the Beatles !!? Now they did it without this tech !! Would have been amazing @hunkalove

@SW-User Just a few hundred dollars worked....I didn’t need to kill anyone (else). 😊
SW-User
@DragonFruit Fantastic!
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@DragonFruit Every time I hear "I'm so Glad" I crack up lol.
SW-User
The Cure or Nine Inch Nails it's a tie
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F
Either would be awesome to see live @SW-User
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F
Mine was the Gun’N’ Roses
Use your illusion tour ... we camped over night and was in the pit next day.... got to see G’N’F’N’R up close and Rose Tattoo up front ... loved every minute and moment...
The Use Your Illusion Tour was a concert tour by the rock band Guns N' Roses which ran from January 20, 1991 to July 17, 1993. It was not only the band's longest tour, but one of the longest concert tours in rock history, consisting of 194 shows in 27 countries ...
It’s in my tiny mind forever 😝
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F
Your very good at that ...@WeighedDown
WeighedDown · 41-45, M
@WineandCoffee Thank you, idk why but this feels like the best compliment ever or maybe I'm just desperate for attention.
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F

DragonFruit · 61-69, M

Iron Maiden backed up by Dio and Motorhead. Nightwish was a very close second.

You saw them live !?! I’m so jealous.. @SW-User
SW-User
@WineandCoffee It was a dream come true. Of course Deacon Frey had replaced his dad (RIP Glen) and the fabulous Vince Gill had joined, but the sound was amazing. One of the best evenings of my life.
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F
I regret not going to every live band that I could have gone too ... @SW-User
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
Not the best, but definitely the most memorable: GG Allin and the Murder Junkies.
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@rottenrobi That's taking freedom of expression to a whole new level. I remember when Jim Morrison had a trial on indecent exposure at his concert (a few seconds of whipping it out). We've come a very long way since then and not in a good way lol.
rottenrobi · 56-60, F
@Mguinm I can't lie, I was scared. Lol. It was a memorable performance, for sure.
Mguinm · 51-55, F
@rottenrobi You need a medal for bravery with that one lol because I'd be scared to death seriously. I'm glad you had a place to hide. I'd probably run out of there.
Nimbus · M
Black Sabbath
WeighedDown · 41-45, M
Ac Dc only because it is the only live band I have seen
WineandCoffee · 51-55, F
Would have loved to have gone to one of these !! Now safer in the comfort of home 😉@WeighedDown

@SW-User I really want to see them!
The Jackson 5 in the 70s and RHCP in the 80s. I saw one of the concerts where the latter wore tube socks, while Hillel was still their guitarist.
