@Jonjdw No reason to download? Why wouldn't you download? Otherwise you can put music from your computer onto your phone.

@BlueMetalChick I just stream music now. But I don’t even do that much. Also Spotify I use

@Jonjdw Spotify? Dude it's 2018 nobody uses Spotify anymore.
Streaming takes up a ton of mobile data and you require an internet connection, and it eats up a lot of RAM. MP3 and MP4 files take up such a minuscule amount of hard drive space that you can store hundreds if not thousands of songs on your device without losing a lot of memory.

@BlueMetalChick I have unlimited data. I have DIRECTV and AT&T So that gives me unlimited data. Plus I’m older than you and I don’t care. I’ve barely use Spotify anyway. I stream if I want to hear something in particular.

@Jonjdw "Plus I'm older than you and I don't care."
So you don't care that you COULD get a much larger selection of music in better audio quality and for free. You COULD use a better product. You just don't want to because...you're old? So old people don't care about the quality of the product they use.
And even if you have unlimited data, you're consuming RAM on your device, and you require an internet connection. Which means you're unable to listen to music through streaming in places where you don't have a strong signal, for example, in the subway tunnel, or when you're on an airplane. And because your RAM is being eaten up, your other apps and sites are gonna run slower while you stream.

I have not streamed music In weeks. And when I do it’s like one or two songs. My kids stream they use most of the u limited data.

@Jonjdw Wow, you've never rode in an airplane before? That's unexpected.
