I have a feeling this question would be extremely biased spanning how many eras of good music depending on which age group the answers would come from. For instance, 80-90’s for me

@SW-User The 90s were really cool as well.

I think there is tons of great music in every decade. I love the mid 60s-late 70s period, and sure, a lot of revolutionary stuff happened - but mostly it's just subjective. I don't really see a reason to be exclusionary though.
There are some really great 18th century tunes too. Remember when Bach dropped this spicy number?

@emptysoul44 What's the problem? And a little while down road Beethoven put his first record on iTunes - everyone went gaga for it.

It's kind of a concept album, works much better if you listen to the whole thing.

@QuixoticSoul Beethoven wrote all the iconic themes for stuff like the olympics were and most of them were from his 9th symphony. An ode to joy

@emptysoul44 People routinely recycle Beethoven's work, both because it's genius - but also because it's royalty-free.

I dunno. I listen to current music all the way back to stuff from the 70s and I like it all equally.
emptysoul44 · 46-50, M
It really depends on what genre I guess
PhlipipUK · 70-79, M
I am totally with you there, most of my friends are stuck in the 60's and 70's and It drives me round the bend. I've heard all that stuff so many times I love listening to current stuff. There are so many great singers/bands around these days.

I tend to think everyone thinks it's when they were/are about ... 15-26. and everything else sucks.

@SW-User I think 60s music was pretty goofy lol
I like the 50s 60s and 70s although there has been some great music since then.
