Which decade was the best for music?

Actually I know I'm in the minority but I like current music.

I think there is tons of great music in every decade. I love the mid 60s-late 70s period, and sure, a lot of revolutionary stuff happened - but mostly it's just subjective. I don't really see a reason to be exclusionary though.

There are some really great 18th century tunes too. Remember when Bach dropped this spicy number?

@emptysoul44 What's the problem? And a little while down road Beethoven put his first record on iTunes - everyone went gaga for it.

@QuixoticSoul Beethoven wrote all the iconic themes for stuff like the olympics were and most of them were from his 9th symphony. An ode to joy

@emptysoul44 People routinely recycle Beethoven's work, both because it's genius - but also because it's royalty-free.
