Another guitar

This is my heaviest guitar, almost double the weight of any guitar I've had. Second most expensive and sounds the best with active pickups.

That's beautiful

@Matt85 every guitarist needs at least one black guitar.

@Arorin This is my badboy:
Arorin · M
@Matt85 is this your work horse?
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@Arorin Yeah, she's still quite young though (2022). Time will tell.
Arorin · M
@Matt85 how do you feel about ibanez? I've had two so far and was kindly left disappointed. They were only mid range guitars about 600 a peice. My original ibanez was made in 2005 i believe.

@Arorin I don't know a lot about guitars but this one is nice. It doesn't rattle and the strings don't pop out of the nut which is a problem I had with my Yamaha Pacifica.
Arorin · M
@Matt85 that is an odd problem to have. I wonder why it did that.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@Arorin I put it down to it only costing £200 haha. I could have tried to deepen the groove in the nut but then you're closer to the fretboard. I'm quite confident I would have made things worse.😄
Arorin · M
@Matt85 could have tried other strings too. Sometimes guitar need a setup
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@Arorin I did replace the low E a few times, still had trouble. I did read up how the metal pole thing that runs up inside the neck might need to be adjusted but like before I didn't want to make things worse.
Arorin · M
@Matt85 yeah that is the truss rod easy enough to adjust. As long as it is a fixed bridge all the stuff can be adjusted really easily, but i understand where you are coming from. I hage a yamaha too but mine is pretty awesome.

@Arorin It was beautiful but I really should have spent more time with it, trying it out in the shop and play how I was gonna play. It's my sister's now. Yamaha is generally a good company though, their synths last years atleast.
Arorin · M
@Matt85 their pickups are awesome i got some good tones with them.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@Arorin Noted! Looks great too.
