What else but the Alastair Sim "A Christmas Carol"?

@rinkydinkydoink exactly although this year I only saw the Reg Owen’s version.
@4thdimensiondream

This has to be the most "versioned" (is that a word?!) story ever.

I recently downloaded but haven't yet watched the Muppets version (with Michael Caine as Scrooge) only because I read an article describing it as being the most faithful to the original work.

@rinkydinkydoink I don’t recall this. I’ll look for it. Thanks. Michael Caine still around. Great actor.
@4thdimensiondream

He sure is - more than held his own up against Lord Larry in "Sleuth".

@rinkydinkydoink I saw Sleuth on Broadway many moons ago with Patrick Macnee of Avengers fame. The shock from the big surprise was incredible live.
@4thdimensiondream

!! Macnee was in the Sim Christmas Carol as young Marley :D

Small world, eh?
