Congrats! I'm glad you're seeing better now!!
@Mindful Thanks. Me too. Its been a long while coming. I'm currently waiting for the cab to take me to the post op check. But everything is brighter through that eye already.😷

I remember after the did mine I noticed how red the cardinal looked ...across the street.

Hope you have good results!

I hope this will be my future within a year
@Poppies Then I encourage you. For a host of reasons I put mine off for too long. And it was the fear of someone messing with my eye that had me worried most. That turned out to be nothing.😷

Had both of mine done 2 years ago. Distance vision is much cleared and I use readers for up close. Had macular hole surgery last summer too. Hope you or anyone else has to go through that
@JohnnyNoir I am. Mine was based on other priorities. Caring for my wife meant I couldnt allow myself to be disabled even for the shortest term or away from her. She has been in care now for 18 months. So I have been working down the list. I can now chew, walk and hopefully see. Soon I will be going fishing with all that gear I bought from those chinese web sites..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman that's great! Missing out on the simple things puts it all into perspective. I pray the best for both of you!
@JohnnyNoir Thank you, kind sir..😷

how much did u pay
@RachelLia2003 Lets start by saying if I went "public" it would have cost me zero, under our health scheme. But there is a queue, as a cataract of non emergency surgery. And public hospitals arent as comfortable and offer less options. Plus I have a phobia about people sticking things in my eye.
So I am fortunate to be able to carry insurance. I chose THE BEST surgeon and clinic with the latest techniques and best outcomes. I was in at 7.30 am out by 11.00am and that included a post op sandwich and coffee. My out of pocket was under $2000, including everything including eye drops and follow up visits. and well worth it..😷
