How can i love something so fake?

I know that they were frauds with the lip sync'ing. But i listen to this song and its just so beautiful to me. The actual singers deserved so much better! Because their voices were amazing. They should have been front and center. Taking every bit of that credit.

They really did, but Frank Farian (their producer) was trying to sell an image and the actual voices belonged to older, middle-aged professional singers—they weren’t "pretty" like Rob and Fab.

Just my opinion, but I think Farian really screwed them over; they were inexperienced and pretty innocent, easily exploited. When everything fell apart, he bailed and let them take the blame, moving on to his next "project".

The irony was, they had talent of their own and decent singing voices. But after the scandal they didn’t have a lot of credibility. 🥺
