I honestly didn’t care for it and didn’t find it funny. I watched some w/someone and my daughter makes me watch it w/her when she doesn’t feel good. She doesn’t understand why I don’t find it funny.
Selah ·
I watched the entire series when I was profoundly depressed and I found it comforting and entertaining. I tried watching it recently and I don't understand how I endured that show.

@Selah you ever try Parks & Recreation, to me its WAYYYYyyyy better. Not even close
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
Only ever seen the American version and I'll just say, it wasn't for me. Not my type of humor
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@KentuckyFriedFloozy have you tried Parks & Recreation?
KentuckyFriedFloozy · 26-30, F
@11knaves11 I have seen it and I enjoyed it more.
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@KentuckyFriedFloozy that shows funny, i definitely agree
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I agree. Even the British one wasnt very good (Sorry Ricky. Love your Stand up work and Afterlife) And US one was completely pointless..😷
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@whowasthatmaskedman from what i saw hes a producer for the american one too
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@11knaves11 That doesnt help. 😉
11knaves11 · 46-50, M

CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I've never watched The Office and don't know what it's about.
dirge · M
@CrazyMusicLover the american version is based on the british one, I don't think the british one went as well as the americanized one.
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@dirge the british one only had 2 seasons and the pilot episodes are almost the exact same.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@dirge The British one was a roaring success and the actors have all gone on to even greater success. Ricky Gervais Stephen Merchant who created and wrote it are highly regarded. I think they just moved on. The British TV system often throws up gems which shine brightly for a season or two and then fade for something new. The lack of commercial imperative means more experimental work and no need to milk something well after the cow has gone dry.

i never got it...many years before i could laugh at seinfeld. a very different type of comedy
hunkalove · 70-79, M
I've never seen it. It doesn't sound very interesting.
kittee · 26-30
@hunkalove if youve never seenit how do oyu know
hunkalove · 70-79, M
@kittee I read about it for years. I never worked in an office. Always sounded like death culture.
RebelRaven · 51-55, F
That show is hilarious
Prettybratbi1tch · 26-30, F
I've never watched it so idk creeper
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@Prettybratbi1tch its cool Puddin it ain't worth watching
Convivial · 26-30, F
Try the original British version... So much better
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@Convivial ironically i watched the first episode of the british version cause it has Rickey. Its wild but both pilot episodes mirror each other. I went through several of the US and i didnt even chuckle at anything
UK version is funnier
some episodes are way better than others. its cringy.
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@MayorOfCrushtown i tried multiple episodes in the first season and it just doesn't hit for me.
kittee · 26-30
it british humour, whichis cringeworthy,
11knaves11 · 46-50, M
@kittee i watched the first episode of the british version but watched multiple of the American version and found nothing funny about it
