Great show. The slow pace, patience and gentleness of it was perfect for a young mind to absorb a lot of important ideas and ideals.

He influenced SO many. Truly a great man.
And if you haven't seen the documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbor,"...try to catch it. A great look in to his life.

His television program, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was one of my earliest introductions to ASMR before ASMR was even a thing.

Just seeing his programs, hearing the sound of his voice and the dulcet tones of the background music just put me in to a trance-like state every time I watched.
He was polite

I think his version of American Christianity died when he show did.

@robertsnj You're not too far off from that. It was the walking the walk part. And he never mentioned god on his show. Actions speak louder than words.
