Does anyone watch The Bear

I tried but it's very boring so far and I couldn't connect to any character and there's nothing compellingly about the plot.Im also trying to figure out how it's a comedy. I'm only on episode 2 tho.

Ive seen a few episodes. So far its ok..but not something I really am getting into nor want to see more episodes. The plot needs a bit more..I agree.

It's definitely slow and dramatic, but I like shows like that. I can see how not everyone would like it though.

@Nadie my mistake was I dived in with expectations. I'll watch 2 more episodes to see if it gets better.

The Bear's a great show, if you take it for what it is, but I definitely wouldn't categorize it as comedy. Are there some moments in the series that are humourous? Sure. But comedy? No way. I'd call it a drama. A very intense drama, about family and pulling together to keep a restaurant alive and about food & trust & the restaurant business in general. Definitely not a comedy.
