I love how the Slamigan from Chicago Fire is touted as this brilliant invention when it's actually a really stupid idea

Its combination of a sledgehammer and a highly versatile Halligan tool removes the latter's ability to do all but a single function (prying with the adze). What's more is that the fork on the other end of the tool are what firefighters use for prying, which the Slamigan renders useless. Yes, it's just a show, but it can take some pretty egregious artistic licenses that you just know real-life firefighters who watch the show must laugh their asses off at.

It's actually used in real life, and your logic doesn't hold water as there are many items with one intended use. It's actually a pretty good idea, hence it's real life use

@Shocx I didn't say there weren't any tools with one intended use. I don't suppose you'd be willing to provide a source for the Slamigan's real-life use?
