Dickensian - TV Series, 2015/16

3 minutes into the first episode and I know I am going to enjoy these 20 episodes over 10 hours.
Charles Dickens, satirical, ironic, comedic creativity.
Do you know within minutes that you will enjoy a show/program/movie as soon as you start watching it?

I completed the whole 20 episodes but it never held my attention all through. Started to wane about episode 12.
Now I have begun Doctor Thorne.
3 part mini series adapted from Anthony Trollope's novel of the same name.
Set in Barchester England 1856.

Mary Thorne, penniless and with undisclosed parentage, grows up under the guardianship of her uncle Doctor Thorne. She spends much of her formative years in the company of the Gresham family at Greshamsbury Park estate. As they close on the world of adult cares and responsibilities, the past starts to impinge and the financial woes of the Gresham family threaten to tear relationships apart.
