I still hadn't recovered from The Magicians season 4 finale
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
I had not watched season 5 since it came out in 2020 because I was still processing Quintin's death. I still am. I know that he had depression since season 1 and understand the reason to kill him off in season 4's finale. He had people who loved and cared for him. When his friends was singing over the fire, burning his stuff and mourning, (for those who don't know, burning a loved one's stuff after they had died is a process of moving on. Some people can't bare to see their loved one's belongings anymore, so they'll burn it, sell it, or give it away because those belongings will bring up memories of the loved one and may cause pain.) I started to cry. I recall one of Quintin's friends (the friend has been dead for a while) showed Quintin what his friends were doing after his death. He started to cry as well.
I know that he could've lived, and I wanted him to, but if that one solution wasn't invaded, we all could've gotten that wish.
I'm still mad at how season 4 ended and I am still processing.
This show has had my feelings up and down. This show had me feeling a rollercoaster of emotions. The Magicians is one of my favorite TV Shows.
