Did you like The Walking Dead?
I'm rewatching it right now. I love it but it makes God out to be quite cruel, atleast the first 2 seasons.

Yes. This '36 horror/crime drama starring Boris Karloff is a fast 66 minutes.
Recently released from prison, Karloff is framed for the murder of a judge by a mob of gangsters. He is sent to the electric chair, just as new evidence would prove his innocence....too late. A doctor believes he can bring him back to life, and is successful.

The film was 1 year after Karloff's success in Bride of Frankenstein.
It's worth a look.
