I Love The Walking Dead [The Walking Dead]

Do you like "Fear the Walking Dead" as much as the original "Walking Dead" - or not as much, or the same? Does anyone else think the "walkers" used to be scarier at first...and not so much now? Have we all just gotten used to them? They move sooooooo slowly! I think: It would be SO easy to get away from them! Unless, of course, the writers WANT you to get bitten!

For some reason, I don't like the characters in Fear the Walking Dead that much. Maybe it's because the story between the two series have now run their course.

@Keepitsimple I don't think trying to keep 2 separate shows going is sustainable.

Fear starts out as a prequel at the beginning of the apocalypse. Well, as fans of the original, you already know how the apocalypse is going to unfold. And you already know which behavior patterns lead to survival, and those that are fatal.

I think bringing in Morgan is the hook to consolidate the shows. I like the cowboy gun slinger and the woman who played Darma.

@BizSuitStacy I’ll probably jump ship if Strand gets killed off. I liked Madison and Morgan isn’t doing it for me on Fear.

@BizSuitStacy Funny, I am terrified of these kind of shows but I got pulled in during a blizzard and marathon watched 3 seasons to be ready for the next season. I remember burying my head in pillows 😁. I wound up loving the show!

@Keepitsimple Awesome. When I was a kid, they aired the original Night of the Living Dead on TV. I was 12 at the time and watched with a friend. Scared the living crap out of both of us. Have been hooked on zombie flicks since.

@BizSuitStacy I think you're right. I watch it now and it seems like all the plots are just being recycled over and over in slightly different ways. It's become tiresome, like ho-hum, here we go again...killing walkers...
