Do you ever feel like dumping your meagre possessions and driving off into the sunset for good?

That is what I done 35 years ago. The only thing keeping me in my home town was my father. When he died I decided there was nothing keeping me there.
So I sold up, packed up and moved 2500 miles away.
Away from all those memories.
Best move ever.

I have my moments.. I never did get that circle the continent trip. A wife now gets difficult if out of her comfort zone.. I can dream, but it wont happen..😷

Yes many times but my mother and my kids and grankids stop me . If I had no one being left behind I definitly think I would .

Yeah. It’s unfortunate that the older we get the more we get squeezed by responsibility..

I used to. Then I spun my life better. Try to think of little ways to uncomplicate your life. Who is helping you with your parents? Can you get a caregiver? What time do you take just for you? What are your hobbies? Can you join a support group? Happy to suggest ways. Support your health. Exercise.

Basically, my father’s also the reason I don’t consider moving to a less expensive state. I have friends and cousins who keep urging me to relocate.
