Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

Just watched both opening episodes today. I really liked it. Great cast and they put in some humor which I liked. The Capt is definitely a more unique one, but a fun one. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

The only think Im not a fan of is the new way they denote rank....just too hard to read...at least to me. I liked the larger pips from TNG. But I do like that the doctor is in a white trim uniform. I think thats more fitting than the blue of yesteryear.

White was the original doctor's attire from before I was born. 🙃

Think what cleans, sanitizes and whitens clothes. Bleach!

You would think they had overcame that problem in the future.

@DeWayfarer TOS and TNG had blue uniforms for the medical staff. Discovery started with blue but later first introduced white. STW then continued with white. Looks like they are sticking with white for SFA.

I watched the first episode. It was a little drama-by-numbers, but it was okay. I am looking forward to the second episode.

I thought it was utterly BARBARIC, crude, vile, duplicitous and gruesome.
NOT cannon by a million miles; not in the universe of cannon. Unrecognizable as Star Trek.

I was appalled, horrified and disgusted. Did not watch it after she sliced up all the people like salami☠ ....😱🤮🤮🤮😭🤯😵‍💫😡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
