Apparently some people think star trek only started been political in the modern era

The original Star Trek dealt with many modern and political issues of the time. It was groundbreaking in many ways. I still prefer the original to any of the more modern spin-offs.

I never watched Star Trek, but even I know that their society was based on Marxism.
