Just lately? "Well, whoop-dee damned doo!"

No idea of it's origin, but I first heard it used by a NJ Nets player (whose name I can't remember) decades ago.

@ChipmunkErnie Oooo, I THINK I first heard it from Nets player Derrick Coleman when an interviewer asked him a tough question regarding his play.

Okay we get it, you like Star Trek. Enough already
"If it’s not science, it’s superstition" Don’t know of the origin but it makes sense.

@BlueSkyKing Science is the beginning, not the end.
@originnone Science is methodology. If there is an equivalent alternative that works as well, let’s hear it.
originnone · 61-69, M
@BlueSkyKing Science builds knowledge and understanding. From there, there is necessarily application, which goes well beyond science. Science by itself is of zero value. Applied properly, its value is nearly infinite.

It's a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Never be cruel or cowardly, and if you are always make amends

The Enterprise D always found a way to stand up to those Romulan warbirds. Fate also prevented Commander Tomolok from destroying the Enterprise and placing her hull in front of the Romulan capital as a trophy.
