I have this fear every time I have an unpeeled boiled egg that I’m about to eat

That somehow it hasn’t been boiled, and when I start to peel it, it’s going to be a raw egg. Even if I’ve just cooked it.

I feel that anxious anticipation every time I’m making deviled eggs for holiday meals. But I also boil them for like 30 minutes just to ensure they’re cooked to high heaven to avoid that raw catastrophe. It’s rather ridiculous of me but 🤷🏻‍♀
