Binge-watching the original series "The Outer Limits" (1963)

(I’m watching this on PlutoTV)
My favorite episode is a two-parter called "The Inheritors" starring Robert Duvall, Ivan Dixon, Steve Ihnat, James Shigeta.

The storyline is about four
U.S. Army soldiers, with nothing in common other than having served in the same combat zone and been shot in the head with bullets cast from fragments of a meteorite, cheat death and begin working on a mysterious project.

Intelligence officer Adam Ballard (played by Duvall) attempts to unravel the mystery behind the strange behavior of the men, who have each attained I.Q.s of over 200.

It’s well-written, haunting, suspenseful—with a twist that is quite beautiful.

Love that show but it does not top The Twilight Zone nor Alfred Hitchcock ( I know that's a slightly different genre)
@REMsleep No, and I definitely wasn’t comparing them. "One Step Beyond” was another great show from around that time.

@bijouxbroussard OK never heard of that one. I will ask my mom. She is the only one I know who likes these black and white Spooky shows. 👍🏾
Maybe we can watch
@REMsleep If you have Roku there are some episodes on their free channel, and also on YouTube. The thing that made OSB different from the Twilight Zone was that their episodes were based upon actual, documented events, some paranormal, others just weird instances of fact being stranger than fiction. It was a scarier show to me because of that.
