Anybody else like cosmic horror and existentialism ?

It's not my forte, but I enjoyed the climax of 2011 movie Cabin in the Woods, for its cosmic horror vibe, which was completely unexpected. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but it still sticks in my head.
