my dad's friend told us how they went to Yellowstone for their honeymoon trip

and the lodge restaurant charged them 18$ for a glass of water .. that was in the early 90's.. i wonder what they charge now.. i think i peeked into the lodge restaurant once.. it was fancy .. that was ten years ago when my eldest niece was a cute toddler .. the pillars of the lodge are very grand tree trunks.. it's quite fascinating.. sigh my brother bought us huckleberry ice cream

We camped there and just visted the lodge.
I remember the lodge being pretty spectacular.
It had a big rustic cabin feel with a huge fireplace in the lobby area and alot of gift shops.
A big tourist attraction because everyone goes there to see the geysers.

The little marmots at the lodge were funny though.
They would come out of thier holes exactly at the same time before the geysers were scheduled to go off.
Stand at a pose for pictures and then collect their goodies from the tourists and go back to their holes.
I had this funny picture in my head of these marmots getting ready in the dressing room underground.
