Working in a mental hospital feels the same.

You learn to read the room before it speaks.

A shift in breath, a flicker in the eyes, silence that’s louder than shouting...

....reminding yourself, those are your footsteps in the dark.

A ninja survives by anticipating danger.

We survive in life by recognizing pain before it becomes danger.

Both require stillness.

Both demand presence.

And in both worlds, the greatest skill isn’t control at all..

...it’s awareness without ego,
