Career Openings all Across the Country...America is Becoming Great Again

That's right folks. We're entering a new era of opportunity and prosperity. You, your children or someone you know can now become a farm laborer. No experience or degree required. Have you dreamed of picking apples in Washington or tomatoes in Alabama? Grapes will soon be ripening in California. And that's just the beginning. There are jobs available for all seasons. Just show up and you can be seeding, hoeing or fertilizing within minutes. And a truck will even pick you up at your door or tent.

And this is just the beginning. Soon you can become a seamstress, presser or maybe even a packer at a garment factory. You may find yourself in fan cooled or air conditioned factory where you will not be docked while taking a 20 minute lunch and two...yes two...10 minute breaks per shift. And get this. You can work as many shifts as you want (can).

The Land of Opportunity is being restored to its former glory.

Only Donald Trump could have done this.

It's a reality that many anti-immigration politicians never mention. The argument comes back that there are plenty of lazy people who should be doing the hard, physical work or, in the case of the UK, looking after the elderly and others needing care instead of living off benefits. It's never those moaning about immigrants going for the lowest paid jobs, but they expect some mythical work force to magically arise to fill the gaps.

Yes, we are all used to cheap labour which could be in our own countries or in faraway places where it won't disturb us.

I wouldn't mind picking grapes or apples but my knee is not in any condition to do much.
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@Tastyfrzz The grape harvest in California starts in August. I'm sure you'd be welcome.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@MoveAlong stomping grapes.

He is truly a transformormational leader!
@JimboSaturn I thought he was against everything “trans”…

Republicans don't care. Whenever i tell them prices are going up, they just tell me to learn how to go without.
@LinuxBreaksWindows And yet supposedly that was the selling point—he was going to "lower prices"…🤔
Musicman · 61-69, M
Absolutely! I had to go to the pharmacy today and they offered me a job including paid training to be a pharmacy technician. Go America! 👍🙂🙂🙂🙂
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@Musicman Congrats. Maybe Trump will invite you to his next SoU address. You can stand up and he can point to you as an American success story.
Musicman · 61-69, M
@MoveAlong That would be so cool! 😎😎😎

You can also become an ICE agent... but you probably need qualifications for that... like getting pardoned for the januari 6th coup.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Growing our own food is terrible. Doing good and honest work is terrible. Farms? Terrible.

Instead of hiring illegal people. Just pay people decent and there will be plenty of people that want to work at a farm

@JimboSaturn You meant "can't" didn't you?
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@JimboSaturn Please let the farmers know how to do that. You could revolutionize the world.

Why is it acceptable for migrants to do the labor? Why is it not acceptable for you and other Americans to do the labor?
JSul3 · 70-79
@degraded Simple answer is the work is back breaking.....exposure to the elements... pesticides, etc.

Ever watch the film Places in the Heart with Sally Field? Watch the scenes of them picking cotton.... and tell me who is going to do that today? Sub 'cotton' for any vegetable or fruit of your choice.

If Americans wanted to do this work.....surprise.....they would already be doing it!

@MoveAlong We all have ideas above our station nowadays. People want to work in offices and become bosses. They want to be pencil pushers instead of doing honest labor. We have given the corporations our souls and power over our lives. Supermarkets can hike the prices whenever they like, migrants or no migrants. They have monopoly.
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@degraded I've been on both sides of it. I've done dirty sweaty labor because I had to. I've been a low level pencil pusher, middle management and retired as a VP. I don't find being a laborer or pencil pusher is less honest than any other legal occupation.

The answer to corporations that run our lives is strong and labor unions. Something Republicans have always fought because traditionally corporation money has backed Republicans. .
How could he have possibly found the time with all those “golf tournaments” he’s “winning” At Mar a Lago? /S
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
@SomeMichGuy LOL, that too I guess.
@MoveAlong Might be the only job people of a certain age can do.
