Watched ( and liked) a recent Netflix movie called "Delicious" tonight

It was different & well-made but, going by the reviews, many others HATED it with a passion.

Yep, reviews are pretty bad but if you enjoyed it, that’s all that counts. I’ve been checking out reviews on a site called Decider and they’ve been fairly spot-on with how I ultimately feel after watching a movie or show. And of course there’s always Rotten Tomatoes.

Lately I’ve been into series adapted from Harlan Coben novels. Plus a lot of Spanish, Scandinavian, Turkish and Korean stuff. Netflix really is great if you’re into foreign offerings.

Funny you mentioned Decider - I was on there for the first time yesterday. The site's critic blasted Delicious.

On TCM, a few months back, I watched a 1960 Korean movie called The Housemaid. It tackled subject matter not available to American movies for decades to come.
@rinkydinkydoink The Koreans are very gifted storytellers. I find a lot of their stuff far better than what America has on offer.
