I'm old enough to remember when the kitchen was the biggest room in the house. That's where we had the floor model radio/record player. It was also the room where visitors used to gather. When we got a TV that's when the living room became THE room to be... We had a parakeet for a time - Nicky - whose cage was in the kitchen. We'd let him out at dinner time so he could join us at the table :D
@rinkydinkydoink We had a parakeet named Peppy and one time he flew towards me and landed in my bf's spaghetti. It was funny to us but you could tell my bf and bird weren't too thrilled. lol😬
