When the older sister was playing peek a boo with the baby. That's when it started getting beyond scary, and Black Phillip certainly put it over the top lol
It's a masterpiece, which happens not so often in modern times imo, very subtle, and GREAT ending!!
I'm not saying it's a great film, but it may be of interest to you, an Icelandic film starring Bjork called The Juniper Tree, has some sublime hypnotic moments.
@JadedOwl Cool!! Yeah other ways to locate films too .... i've been trying to think of other folk horror films for you I used to own a box set put out by Severin, it had 20 films and a volume 2 has since been released.
