I visited my American best friend over the past weekend who lives on Long Island. Her new house is five minutes away from the real Amityville horror house so we had to do a drive-by.

It definitely looks different. It's hard to imagine an entire family was murdered there over 50 years ago. From what I read and seen, if there was any paranormal activity in that house, it appears to be long gone. I think Jodie the pig moved away many, many years ago. 🐖
@DrWatson Amityville always wants to be known as a quiet village town but unfortunately, the Defeo murders and the Amytiville Horror movie and book put the village on the national map. The 1979 movie with James Brolin and Margot Kidder will always be a horror classic. I did see the Ryan Reynolds remake in the theater and it was a complete dud.
