It’s a slow burner. But I think the 1978 remake of Invasion of the body snatchers is pretty jarring to watch

not a fan of most horrors nowadays. i think jump scares are really cheap tactics n make them more boring. i like existential/psychological horror. the most scary scene ive seen actually comes from the movie "Annihilation." overall not a great movie but that one bear scene in it. really got to me. the concept alone in that moment as well as the very real physical threat made for a really tense horror scene.

It’s not the scariest movie ever but Hostel really freaked me out 😰 Especially since I was going on my first trip to Europe that summer 😅
