What do you think the greatest horror movie ever made is?

I'm not sure, but I've watched Midsommar recently. That's what I consider a great horror movie. I'm not saying that it's the greatest ever, but it's definitely up there in the top ten.

The shining and hereditary are the best ever. So many layers.

I honestly found midsommar excellent art wise buttttt (subjective opinion) it reeked of pretentiousness. Idk.

@assemblingaknob I agree. In regard to art and cinematography, Ari Aster doesn't hold a candle to Alejandro González Iñárritu.
