To those of you who enjoy horror films

What is it about them that you enjoy? Do you actually find them scary?

I've watched plenty but I just don't seem to be able to get into them enough to find them scary or creepy.

Some may creep me out, but few horror films have managed to scare me for real. I enjoy simply because I find them riveting. Even if they never actually scare me, it doesn’t mean they’re never entertaining to watch.

@Ducky There is some great stuff in the genre I admit, and while I can't get scared by them some do make me feel uncomfortable. The original Wicker Man for example.
