every year i try to watch 31 horror or Halloween type movies figure i can keep a list here of what i have watched and open it for suggestions below

Halloween 3 was an underrated film. So was the remake of Frightnight.

I also recommend Ginger Snaps, Cemetery Man and Return of the Living Dead.

Halloween 3 really was underrated i can appreciate they wanted to do something new with the franchise

and have not seen ginger snaps in a long time

@GeorgeTBH I gather John Carpenter's vision for Halloween was to do something different each time. But then the first one made so much money that they had to sequel it. By 3, everyone was expecting the formula and was disappointed when they didn't get it.

@WoodyAq the third one they turned into an anthology movie and didn't have Michael in it they kind of just used the name Halloween for ticket sales i think then brought him back in 4

@GeorgeTBH You should also think about some films out of the Italian 80s genre. Argento (Deep Red, Phenomena) or Fulci (The Beyond, Zombi II) or Bava (Demons, Macabre).

@WoodyAq i will look into it i got a handful of like European horror movies over the last few years from my local dollar store here i have not had a chance to check out yet
