Jesus, I read just a few days ago a FB status of some guy who went dumpster diving and got veal steaks from 2022. How the hell do you dumpster dive for frozen food? 😅 In your own freezer, you at least know that it was frozen the whole time. 🙈
He said they were delicious but I didn't check if it wasn't his last status by any chance. 😅 Btw, what do you think you get in a restaurant? 🫣

@CrazyMusicLover here they routinely check them. There's no chance in hell you won't get inspected in as long as two years, and no chance in hell they'd let you keep meat that long

Don't tell me not to risk my health over something that cost me £1.59 in 2021

@SomeIrishPerson You can take £1.59 (coins ofc) and make a broth out of them, then dip some bread in it, and you'll replicate the same taste and consistency minus the food poisoning experience 😬

My mother never dates the food she freezes and seems to believe that it will last indefinitely.
Four year old lamb shanks will not kill you, but they are like trying to eat your own shoe 😩

I'm going to put myself in the freezer and awaken in the future

Everything has a shelf life even frozen foods

Hell, if people can defrost a woolly mammoth after a few centuries, a few years in the freezer seems okay.

The problem is with defrosting freezers.
