I know somebody whos kids did that as a retaliation for being on restriction. I told her that her retaliation should be to have them each pick a can for dinner and to make sure all the cans in there are green beans.

@Adrift I loved green beans when I was little. Would eat every one put in front of me. I became the family’s green bean picker at the age of 3 and a half years old and we would have rows to pick and fill up a round metal bathtub most pickings. I did it till we moved off the farm

@cherokeepatti We used to eat a lot of canned spinach when I was a kid. I used to pour mountains of vinager on it to make it taste better.

@Adrift I hated that mushy mess. Nobody in my class would touch it and it would get thrown in the garbage. They finally learned that it’s not going to nourish children if they refuse to eat it. I love fresh or frozen spinach though
