My sister buys antiques, which is nice until you realise you’re sat in a room full of dead people’s stuff.
It’s a lovely mirror, but if it’s haunted and I see a face that isn’t mine in it, I’m leaving through a window and never coming back…

They don't need them anymore. Logically if you were gone and someone could have happiness from using smtg you left behind, you'd be like "Take it, I don't need it anyway" right?
If you like them, if they make you happy to look at them, If you enjoy using them, it is great to give those things a second life! :)
If they are haunted or give you a bad vibe, you can throw them out. You never know, some could be blessed!
