Ok. I know the thing about Sansa not telling Jon about the Knights of the Vale possibly coming to their rescue annoyed a lot of people, myself included. Not so much now.
Reason 1: She might not have known for sure. Though that seems improbable seeing as how she managed to find him behind the Bolton army.
2. If word somehow got to Ramsey, he wouldn't have come out of Winterfell. He would have holed up inside and let them do a seine. Which, since WunWun could take down the gate, really wouldn't have been that big of a deal.
And now for the real reason.
#3. Littlefinger put the seed of doubt into Sansa regarding trusting Jon. There has to be a reason. Not because Jon wasn't trustworthy, but that Littlefinger wanted both armys to be dwindled down to nothing. He now has the largest army in all of the North behind him. I believe even if Jon knew the Knights of the Vale were coming and tried to hold his own against the Bolton army with his original plan that Littlefinger still would have waited until the last possible minute to intervene because that is what is best for Littlefinger. In his mind anyway. I doubt the Knights of the Vale would give a damn if Sansa killed him. Lol
Also, I wonder if Stannis will re-emerge in the next episode. Somewhere near the wall. He may well be dead, but that would be shitty of the show to not show it.
I may not watch the opening credits next episode since it tells you who you are going to see. Hence the cold open for The Broken Man. Lol
