I'm late to the game, but "Game of Thrones" might be the best show I've ever watched. I'm really enjoying it.

@HowtoDestroyAngels It is really good consistently for the majority of the series. It’s just, how did they get that last season so wrong? I heard everything about season eight and when I was watching it, I was like “People. Were not. Kidding.” 🤣

@Ducky Well GRRM stated that the books are not going to end like the HBO series, so I guess that's something to look forward to, if you enjoy reading.....

@Ducky George RR Martin took his sweet time writing the sequels. They blew through the material for the 5 books around Season 5 and 6 and took "notes" from Martin about the ending and major story beats upcoming in the books.

The 2 producers, D. B. Weiss and David Benioff got distracted by their fame, and they were excited to take over the Star Wars franchise.

Unlike the earlier seasons, where they took their time and were able to focus on the important story points and characters, the later seasons were rushed and little contradictions, mistakes and stupid decisions ruined the ending.

I don't believe Martin will ever finish the books, and they will hand it over to a ghostwriter to finish when he dies.

@SumKindaMunster Fuck! I'd take an "as is" version if he'd hang up his cap and retire from it, if he absolutely can not complete Winds.
