Seeing the unique in cinema with a dork

I always wished to see my fave films with someone who’d be agreeing it’s as good as I thought, not having anyone physically for such times but my parents it worked out a few times as great films can at times be like music and be universal in their appeal.

The Asthenic Syndrome is another kind

Experimental

Fragmentary

Multilayered

Complex

Telling something personal involving a wide range of things and memories

It’s like a blend of the following

Tarkovsky’s Mirror

Parajanov’s The Color of Pomegranates

And Jodorowsky’s Fando y Lis

Contemplative moments along with crazy moments which are also a bit like those wacky moments in the Epilogue of Berlin Alexanderplatz

For me it evokes these other films but is entirely Kira Murotova’s own creation

She is for me side by side with Vera Chytilova director of Daisies and Fruit of Paradise the latter being my #2 film of all time I hope to explain why that’s so great in the near future ……:)
