Guide to my 1,000 film picks

I would see lists on Mubi when the internet was new to me claiming to be "The New Canon" well that is what I am doing for myself. I wish to gravitate to and highlight World cinema, but everything of value imo will be represented, I shall pin this post for easy access to this growing fundament of the finest films out there. Only to be added to on the weekends and all for me at least to be seen during the weekend posted and during the week following. We all know about Casablanca and those sorts, they are awesome, and some of them will be in my 1,000, but they will not be the focus. I am here to reveal what may have not been known of before.

I would most like collecting the work of great directors, the new one for me here is Kira Muratova, in the Pantheon officially.
