My feel good movies

This theme should be a nice exercise, films that can ignite within a cavalcade of good feelings, let's start, and as always when I remember them, they will be added

So what comes first to mind is Amelie, with it's charming music by Yann Tierson, who's soundtrack for Goodbye Lenin is even better, oh that movie is a charmer too, I showed it to dad once and he LOVED it, about a lady who thinks her government is still in power and her son and friends in an elaborate way make it seem like those days are still going on, and with Amelie I just love the color scheme and the lead, she's quirky and just the kind I could fall for if I lived a normal outgoing life.

David Lynch's A Straight Story is really a standout in his filmography, nothing strange happens just a simple heartwarming story about an elderly man making a long trip on a tractor for something i've forgotten what it was about, but I remember clearly the good feelings it gave.

Jeff Keen's Mad Love is a super duper experimental short film, you see gnarly bohemian types just being goofy and having fun, doing bizarre skits, and all to the most catchy Cuban songs!!

I just watched the short for "Jimmy" The story of Jimmy Stewart. And it looks like a contender.😷

@Adroneandastrain So why not treat yourself and just buy a used dvd for less than $10 delivered to your door and have it forever.?😷

@whowasthatmaskedman I can't watch anything on disc anymore, i'm a slave to what the internet has to offer, which has it's own pluses in regards to convenience.

@Adroneandastrain I keep a small collection of "must have" movie (and series) so I always have them around. What would Christmas be without Scrooged and Love, Actually?😷
