I'll make a companion list to the more extreme films being watched, I need balance in my film diet.
1. Se7en -- a classic Fincher I never managed to add to my physical collection, i've seen a few wonderful visual essays on it that have upped my felt need to enjoy it, and I require for my mental health to balance my disturbing movie escapade with movies that are more safe. There'd surely be people that would see this one as unsafe, but believe it or not, when something is considered safe socially, it is a comment on that society, and it can be unsettling to know that way how far we've gone from the straight and narrow.
