Gonna watch PSYCHO, the original next

Guy Maddin's The Heart of the World remains to be cherished, for it's avant-garde qualities, almost made me put on some Kenneth Anger, but I pine for a conventional narrative, and although this made a splash in 1960, it could be seen as Canon in the film world, I recall the last re-watch years ago and the end when some cop or someone like that was explaining Norman, it felt too wooden and staged. Perhaps that means that to the Psycho, reality seems too not-real, being deranged ergo is a heightened reality. And there is a good kind and the Norman Bates kind, and Hitch's plunge is subconsciously depicted.

Anyway I cannot properly watch anything without the internet, so Psycho and any film I put on must be understood as the audio/visual version of putting on an album while doing other things. And only here and there giving it the full attention for striking moments like the shower scene, and Janet Leigh's eye.
